Coming into the third year, one has to put in a lot of time to decide the future.
During the first and the second year of my btech i had just doing btech. I dint think anyting about the future. I would ignore completely the notion of higher studies.
In the second year this feeling had a small impact in my mind. For a job one need not be so well in the academics. As far as a computer science graduate needs to be sharp in his soft skills. So studyies became less... later only i found i was wrong...
I felt so sorry when i prepared for the end semester exam. After studying a subject for 4 months, i am finishing it without having a deep knowledge in the subject. This made me feel so bad.
So during this vacation i had thinking of about this stuff. Everytime i get online i used to permute all those words related to higher studies and search...

The long vacation of two and a half months is coming to an end. And i am now looking back at the vacation now.
The first happy moment was that of the entry of a car to family.Santro Xing...black...
It was after waiting for a long time that we bought one. Well, i chose it's colour. Though initially no one liked the color. Once the car was brought home, their opinion changed . Its simply the best one. Even though i had a licence, i had no practice in driving. It was for the driving test (which was done two years before) that i last drove a vehicle. It was from next morning onwards that i started practicing. At first in our plot, then slowly out to the road. Thank god i became better at the wheels after two or three days of driving. Parents were happy. Then it was the chance of my father. After his three classes with the driving master then it was my duty to train him. After month of training he also now drive the car. Now he is waiting for his driving test.
then there was a two week long stay in the college. Most friends were there in the college for discussion regarding Tathva09 which is to be conducted by our year. All the day in front of the laptop except going out for having food. It was the trip to Kappad which was a change. It was on one Monday that we went to Kappad. We feared we wont be able to watch the sunset as raining all through the way. But the reain had stopped when we reached the beach. It was a delightful sight that no one except for 3 or 4 was there in the beach. The entire Kappad beach was left for 7 of us from NIT .This is the place where Vasco da game set foot on the indian soil for the first time. Its a very long beach.
After two hours of playing in the water and after the sunset we left back for the college.We had dinner in Al Bake in calicut. It was my first visit to the hotel in my 2 year long stay in the city.
And then i came back to home. There were some family visits now and then. Then there was a trip to trivandrum for my friend's sister's marriage. One day long wandering around in the capital of kerala was interesting. It was my first time in trivandrum.
And tehn i was planning of returning to the college. But the getting of broadband connection at home kept me away from returning to the college.....
So here at home enjoying the speed of broadband....

The vacations
Its been long since i wrote something in this blog.The same reason is restraining me from devoting some time to such activities(Exams). Though the exams were so tough, luckily, thanks to the computer science department, i managed to get 8.92 cgpa this time. My first 8. in NIT life.
So my vacation started one month before.i had been switching my place now and then. After spenting two weeks at home i left for college. i was there for another two weeks. Now its from home i am writing.
How do i spent my time? Mostly i watch movies..developed a big database from the hostel lan.Its only a matter of choosing which movie to watch. there had been some good movies , some were very bad -simply wasting time.
'Seredipity' was a good one. i liked the theme. its about about two strangers stumbling into each other in a general store named 'serendipity'.They both chose for the same pair of socks- a black one.The story starts from there.The man fall in love with the lady at first site.But the girl dint give up so quickly-she said let the destiny brings them together.both of them left notes of contact details but left it to reach them somehow. like one of them wrote name and address on 10 dollar note and gave it to a shopkeeper and the other one wrote his on a book and gave it to a used books store.Towards the end, though both of them find their on partner both feels something is missing somewhere and set out to find each other.And finally the destiny brings them together.
A lot happened in the vacation.One of my best friend finally accepted my friend request in orkut.Its been two years since i had sent it. but now active in the cyberworld. i dint forget to drop a testimonial for her. Simply each line praising her of her virtues.
Met quite a few friends and also was able to contact them.
About the college.Now i am going to be in s5. Until now i have only a brief idea of what i am learning in this entire college life. Seniors say by the end of s6 one will get to know what one is going for.
I am in a bit of confusion now. Most friends have already started going for CAT,GRE AND GATE coaching. i havent yet made up my mind for the future. praying that god will soon open a way in front of me.
i managed to get a collection of questions for these tests.
